Studio Ghibli Project - WIP!

Hello Everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while.😓  I've been so busy with school and work.  I promise to

improve.  :)  This is a piece that's the first in a series that I'm doing.  Studio Ghibli films are so amazing and I enjoy watching scenes that include food.  The way that the dishes are drawn makes me so hungry!  So, in honor of Ghibli food, that is exactly what I am going to paint.  Basically, I am going to paint different dishes from my favorite Studio Ghibli films.  This first painting is of Satsuki's bento from My Neighbor Totoro.  This film was not only my very first Ghibli movie, but also my very first movie to watch EVER.  So naturally, this is very near and dear to my heart and I had to choose this to be the first illustration.  For this work, I used my trusty Daniel Smiths.  Stay tuned for more in this project!
